Getting started

Does Lineup TV come with channels?

No. Lineup TV is a player. You add your own playlist from a provider you choose. Lineup TV doesn't provide, sell or recommend any content.

What kind of playlist do I need?

Either an Xtream Codes login (a server address, username and password) or an M3U playlist link. Your provider gives you these.

How do I add my playlist?

Open Lineup TV and choose how you want to add your playlist. The easiest way is to scan the QR code on the screen with your phone's camera and type your details on your phone. They go straight to your Apple TV over your home Wi-Fi.

You can also type them in with the remote, or add more playlists later in Settings → Playlists.

The QR code page won't open on my phone

Your phone and Apple TV need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. If your phone is on mobile data or a guest network, switch it to your home Wi-Fi and scan again. You can always type your details with the remote instead.

Which Apple TV do I need?

Any Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K running tvOS 17 or later.

TV guide and playback

The TV guide is empty or says "No information"

The first time, the guide takes about a minute to download. After that it opens instantly.

If some channels still have no guide, your provider may not include guide information for them. If you have a separate guide (XMLTV/EPG) link, add it in Settings → TV & Guide → TV guide source.

The guide times look wrong

Lineup TV matches the guide to your provider's clock automatically. If times still look off, go to Settings → TV & Guide → Update channels and guide, and check your Apple TV's time zone in the Apple TV Settings app.

A channel buffers or won't play

Try another channel first. If only one channel has trouble, it's usually the stream itself, and it will often buffer in other apps too.

For the smoothest playback, connect your Apple TV with an Ethernet cable if you can. If a channel still won't play, see Settings → Help → Troubleshooting, or contact your provider.

How do I switch channels while watching?

Swipe or press up and down on the remote to change channels. Press right to see the channel list, and press and hold Select for more options.

What is Live Sports?

"● Live Sports" appears at the top of your categories whenever a game is on. It shows only real games on right now (not highlights or talk shows), sorted by league. Press Back to jump to the league buttons at the top and filter by league.

It works from your provider's guide, so games on channels without guide information won't show up there.

How do I add favourites?

In the guide, press and hold Select on any channel, then choose Add to Favourites or one of your folders.

What is catch-up?

Some providers let you watch shows that already aired. If yours does, those channels show a small clock icon in the guide. Select a past show to watch it, or press and hold Select on a show that's on now and choose Watch from the Start.

Purchase

How does the free trial work?

You get the full app free for 7 days. After that, a one-time purchase unlocks it for good. There's no subscription and nothing renews, so you're never charged unless you choose to buy.

I already bought it. How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings → About → Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

Can my family use it?

Yes. Lineup TV supports Family Sharing, so everyone in your Apple family group can use it on their own Apple TV at no extra cost.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Still need help?

Tell us what you see and which Apple TV you have. A photo of the screen helps. Please don't send your playlist password.
